Internal Audit Manager
As a member of the SEA, Korea, Taiwan and India Legal & Compliance regional team, you will assist the Head of Legal & Compliance and work closely with compliance managers and officers, legal members, internal auditors, finance teams and other teams in supporting the company's legal, compliance, and internal control functions in the region, including Singapore.
The role ensures that business activities are conducted in accordance with applicable laws, regulations, company policies, and internal control requirements while helping to mitigate legal and operational risks.
Job Responsibilities
This includes assisting the Head of Legal and Compliance in carrying out the following:
Internal Control
Assist in maintaining and enhancing internal control framework of the group:
- Perform periodic control testing and process reviews to identify control weaknesses and improvement opportunities.
- Monitor adherence to internal policies, delegated authority limits, and operating procedures.
- Track and follow up on corrective actions arising from audits, reviews, and risk assessments.
- Prepare reports on control deficiencies and remediation progress.
- Work with team members to improve control deficiencies.
Compliance
- Support implementation and monitoring of compliance programs, policies, and procedures.
- Monitor regulatory developments and assess their impact on operations.
- Assist in ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and internal policies.
- Support non-compliance case reviews.
- Maintain compliance registers, records, and documentation.
- Coordinate reporting and filings where required.
Others
- Any other tasks as may be assigned from time to time.
Requirements
- Degree in business administration / accountancy / management / law
- Experience in internal audit and or business process reviews.
- Able to work as a team member and willingness to self-learn and up-skill
- Good verbal and written skills in English
- Organized and detailed
