Removals Estimator (Hybrid)

We’re working with an established business in the removals sector that is looking to recruit a Removals Estimator for a hybrid role covering Greater Manchester. The position will involve surveying customers, assessing move requirements and preparing accurate quotations, with a mix of customer visits and home-based working.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include: Conducting surveys for residential removals customers. Assessing volumes, access requirements and any specific removals requirements. Preparing accurate quotations based on the survey information gathered. Following up enquiries and discussing quotations with customers. Advising customers on suitable moving services based on their requirements. Liaising with the operations team to ensure survey information is accurate before each move. Keeping customer and survey information up to date throughout the sales process.

To succeed in this role you'll ideally have: Previous experience as a removals estimator, moving consultant or similar within the removals industry. Good knowledge of household removals and the surveying process. Experience preparing quotations and converting customer enquiries. Confidence dealing with customers both in person and over the phone. Strong organisation skills and attention to detail. The ability to manage your own appointments and workload across Greater Manchester.
