Your tasks
The Services required are set out as follows
- Prepare, clean, cut and distribute ingredients for Nutrition and Food Science lessons.
- Clean the Needlework Room, kitchen workstations, utensils and floors.
- Maintain inventories of equipment and ingredients and simple logistical records.
- Support school activities and other assigned duties.
- During school holidays, assist the General Office with printing, reception, filing and shredding.
Requirements
The following skills and experience are preferred
- Relevant school experience; experience in high-volume hospital, hotel or catering food services may also be considered.
- Spoken and written English, with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work responsibly, independently and with attention to detail.
Other
Contract Period: 1 January 2027 to 31 December 2027.
Option period: First option: 1 January to 31 December 2028. Second option: 1 January to 31 December 2029.
Personnel to be deployed at the following hours
- School term: Mondays to Fridays, 7:00am to 4:00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.
- Examination period (approximately 14 days, subject to change): 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.
- June, November and December school holidays: Mondays to Fridays, 8:00am to 5:00pm, inclusive of a one-hour lunch break.
- Hours may vary with school needs; school activities may require support beyond normal hours.
- Service not required on Saturdays, Sundays and gazetted public holidays.
