Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Education Professional role based in Ilorin. The Education Professional will design and deliver instructional content, facilitate classroom and small-group teaching, and support students’ academic development and moral conduct in line with the University’s mission. Daily responsibilities include preparing lesson plans, conducting lectures and tutorials, assessing student performance, providing academic advising, and maintaining accurate records of student progress. The role also involves participating in curriculum development, contributing to departmental meetings and committees, engaging in scholarly or professional activities, and collaborating with colleagues to enhance the learning environment.

Qualifications

Strong foundation in Education and Teaching, with the ability to design and deliver effective learning experiences. Excellent Communication skills, including clear presentation, active listening, and the ability to engage diverse learners. Experience in Training and mentoring, supporting student development and continuous learning. Customer Service orientation, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and professional support for students and stakeholders. Relevant academic qualification in Education or a related field (minimum of a bachelor’s degree; advanced degrees are an advantage). Proven experience in a higher education or similar academic setting is highly beneficial. Ability to work collaboratively within a multicultural and multi-faith environment, upholding high ethical and professional standards. Competence in basic digital tools for teaching, assessment, and communication (e.g., learning management systems, productivity software).
