Website Journalist

We are looking for a Website Journalist to join our Website Team . The ideal candidate combines strong news judgment and fast-paced reporting skills with the ability to develop data-driven stories based on verified and reliable sources.

Responsibilities Produce daily and weekly news reports and feature stories for the website.

Monitor and update news based on reports from international news agencies and the channel’s correspondents worldwide.

Verify images and videos circulating online before publication.

Collaborate with TV and Social Media teams to transform content into engaging written stories for the website.

Follow editorial standards, correction policies, and professional journalism ethics.

Excellent Arabic language skills with clear, concise, and professional journalistic writing.

Good command of English.

Knowledge of Content Management Systems (CMS), Search Engine Optimization (SEO), and digital headline writing.

Required Editorial & Research Skills Strong knowledge of advanced search techniques across search engines and social media platforms.

Advanced ability to use AI tools effectively for in-depth research and information gathering.

Advanced proficiency in Excel / Google Sheets, including data cleaning and organization.

Ability to extract data from reliable sources, convert it into an analyzable format, and create data visualizations.

Ability to verify images and videos using reverse image search and metadata analysis.

Strong awareness of digital security practices and research ethics.

Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or relevant higher education qualification.

Minimum 3 years of experience in a digital newsroom or online news website.
