Job Description Al Ghad TV is looking for a Senior Internal Auditor to conduct internal audit activities across financial, administrative, operational, and production functions. The role will ensure compliance with approved policies, procedures, and regulations, assess the efficient use of resources and assets, evaluate the effectiveness of internal controls, identify risks and control gaps, and provide practical recommendations to improve performance and safeguard the channel’s assets. Key Responsibilities Review expenses, petty cash, advances, financial settlements, business trips, and travel and transportation allowances.

Review purchases, purchase orders, invoices, approvals, and price comparisons to ensure compliance with procurement policies and financial authorities.

Review contracts with suppliers, service providers, cleaning, security, transportation, production companies, and other relevant contractors.

Review documentation cycles and expenses related to program production and media coverage and compare them against approved budgets.

Review procedures related to external assignments and field coverage, including expenses of correspondents and field teams.

Review warehouses, assets, and technical equipment, including receiving, issuing, periodic and surprise stock counts, and reconciliation of book and physical balances.

Ensure complete documentation for the custody and use of equipment and identify cases of loss, damage, or misuse and report them according to approved procedures.

Review HR procedures and employee files to ensure completeness of documentation and approvals, as well as termination procedures and final settlements.

Evaluate system access controls and user access granting and cancellation procedures, and review data and information protection and electronic system-related risks in coordination with relevant departments.

Identify and assess operational, financial, and administrative risks, evaluate internal controls, identify conflicts of interest and control weaknesses, and recommend corrective actions.

Update risk and control matrices according to the nature of the business activities.

Prepare clear and professional internal audit reports covering findings, risks, impact, recommendations, and proposed corrective actions.

Follow up on the implementation of audit recommendations and corrective actions.

Prepare periodic reports for senior management covering recurring findings and risks and escalate significant cases according to the approved escalation policy.

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

4–7 years of experience in internal audit, external audit, or financial and operational control.

Previous experience in media companies is preferred.

CIA, CPA, ACCA, CISA, or a similar professional certification is preferred.

Strong knowledge of financial and operational auditing, internal controls, and risk management.

Strong analytical skills with the ability to analyze data and identify exceptions.

Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.

Strong report-writing skills with the ability to prepare professional reports for senior management.
