Al Fanar School — FS1 Teacher (Foundation Stage)

Al Fanar School is a British curriculum school in Nad Al Sheba, Dubai, licensed by the Knowledge and Human Development Authority.

The role

We are looking for an FS1 teacher to join our Early Years team. You will lead your own class, plan and deliver the EYFS curriculum, work alongside a class assistant, and contribute to a phase that is still growing. Our Early Years provision is play-based and child-led, and we want a teacher who understands what that actually means in practice.

What we are looking for

A bachelor's degree, plus a recognised teaching qualification — BEd, PGCE, PGDE or QTS

At least two years' teaching experience, with Early Years experience essential

Experience of the EYFS framework

A commitment to safeguarding and to the wellbeing of young children

All qualifications must be attested to UAE Ministry of Foreign Affairs level. Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research (MoHESR) equivalency is required for the degree, and for the teaching qualification, in order to obtain a KHDA teaching permit. Candidates bear the cost of attestation and equivalency of their own qualifications.
