Part Timer - Dishwasher

About the Role

We are looking for a reliable, hardworking, and responsible Part-Time Dishwasher / Kitchen Steward to join The Shin Table team.

You will play an important role in maintaining a clean, hygienic, and well-organised kitchen while supporting the kitchen and service teams during daily operations. The ideal candidate should have a positive attitude, good work ethic, and be comfortable working in a fast-paced restaurant environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Wash, clean, and sanitise dishes, utensils, cookware, and kitchen equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dishwashing area, kitchen floors, sinks, and workspaces.
• Ensure clean dishes, utensils, and equipment are properly stored.
• Assist the kitchen team with general cleaning and housekeeping duties.
• Dispose of rubbish and follow proper waste-sorting procedures.
• Maintain high standards of kitchen cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety.
• Assist with receiving, moving, and storing kitchen supplies when required.
• Support the kitchen team during busy service periods.
• Follow workplace safety procedures and company standards.
• Perform other reasonable duties as assigned by the kitchen supervisor or management.

Requirements

• Previous experience in dishwashing, kitchen operations, or cleaning is preferred but not essential.
• Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
• Physically fit and comfortable standing for extended periods.
• Good attention to cleanliness, hygiene, and safety.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well as part of a team.
• Willing to work part-time shifts, including weekends and public holidays when required.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Working Hours

• Part-time position
• 12.30pm to 3pm(sometime 3.30pm)
• 6.30pm to9.30pm (sometime 10pm)
• Weekend and public holiday availability may be required
• Working hours and schedule to be discussed during the interview
