Senior Procurement Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Procurement Engineer to join our dynamic team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in managing the procurement process, ensuring quality and cost-effectiveness of materials and services, and collaborating closely with engineering and project teams to support organizational goals.

Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement effective procurement strategies that align with company objectives.
• Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, cost-efficiency, and delivery timelines.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts and purchase agreements to secure favorable terms.
• Collaborate with engineering and project management teams to understand technical specifications and project requirements.
• Monitor supplier performance and conduct regular reviews to maintain high standards.
• Manage procurement documentation and maintain accurate records.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, industry standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify risks in the supply chain and develop mitigation strategies.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement engineering, preferably within the Middle East or UAE market.
• Strong knowledge of procurement processes, contract negotiation, and supplier management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze technical specifications and incorporate them into procurement decisions.
• Proficient in procurement software and MS Office applications.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and multicultural environment.
