Cost Control Engineer

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Cost Control Engineer to join our dynamic construction team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will be responsible for monitoring project costs, ensuring budget adherence, and providing accurate cost forecasts to support successful project completion within financial targets.

Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and maintain cost control systems for construction projects.
• Monitor project budgets and expenditures to identify variances and recommend corrective actions.
• Prepare detailed cost reports and forecasts to guide project management decisions.
• Collaborate with project managers, procurement, and finance teams to maintain cost efficiency.
• Analyze contract terms and scope changes to assess financial impact on the project.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards related to cost control.
• Support the preparation of tender documents and cost estimates for new projects.
• Review and validate subcontractor and supplier invoices for a
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years experience in cost control within the construction industry.
• Strong knowledge of cost control procedures, contract management, and budgeting.
• Proficient in cost control software and MS Office applications, especially Excel.
• Excellent analytical and numerical skills with high attention to detail.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with construction standards and UAE regulations is highly desirable.
