Group Consolidation Specialist (m/f/d)

Our internationally active industrial client is looking for support in the field of group accounting for the Düsseldorf location. We are pleased to support this recruitment! The position starts as a temporary assignment (arbeitnehmerüberlassung) and is initially planned for approx. 2–3 months, with the option of extension.

Group Consolidation Specialist (m/f/d)

Your tasks:

• Support in the preparation of group financial statements according to IFRS as part of monthly, quarterly, and annual reporting
• Support and assistance to international companies regarding reporting requirements and questions about the consolidation system
• Participation in the implementation and further development of a new consolidation system (S/4HANA Group Reporting)
• Creation and further development of reports as well as participation in testing new reporting requirements
• Preparation of presentation materials for internal committees as well as support for adjacent areas (e.g., Controlling, Investor Relations) and auditors

Your profile:

• Completed degree in Business Administration, Economics (ideally with a focus on group accounting) or comparable qualification (e.g., Bilanzbuchhalter) with a focus on accounting / Controlling
• Initial professional experience in the field of group accounting, consolidation, or Group Reporting is an advantage
• Experience in using SAP (e.g., SEM-BCS, S/4HANA) or consolidation systems such as LucaNet or IDL Konsis is desirable
• Very good Excel skills as well as confident handling of MS Office
• Strong numerical understanding, analytical thinking, and a structured way of working
• Good to very good English skills in speaking and writing
