Project Buyer (m/f/d) – Technical Procurement

For our client, an internationally active industrial company, we are looking for a Buyer (m/f/d) specializing in project-related procurement at the Bönen location through temporary employment, starting immediately. In this position, you will support project procurement in the coordination and implementation of procurement activities within complex technical projects. The project is initially limited until 30.09.2026. Depending on performance, a long-term assignment within the framework of temporary employment with very good prospects can be offered.

Your tasks:

• Supporting project procurement in the preparation and implementation of project-related procurement activities
• Recording and maintaining procurement-relevant project and master data in the ERP system (e.g., SAP)
• Creating evaluations as well as preparing decision-making bases for project teams
• Carrying out target-actual comparisons and supporting the monitoring of project budgets and procurement KPIs
• Alignment and coordination of internal requirements with project management, engineering, and quality management
• Communication with suppliers, e.g., to clarify offers, deadlines, and technical requirements
• Ensuring timely procurement in accordance with project schedules

Your profile:

• Successfully completed commercial training, technical training with additional commercial qualification, or comparable qualification
• Initial or several years of experience in procurement is necessary, ideally in the project procurement of an industrial company
• Confident handling of ERP systems (e.g., SAP) as well as good knowledge of MS Office, especially Excel, is required
• Good English skills in speaking and writing are required
• Advantageous: Basic understanding of technical drawings or bills of materials
• Independent, structured, and result-oriented way of working
• Analytical thinking skills, technical understanding, as well as teamwork and communication skills
