Purchaser (m/f/d)

For our client in the energy industry, we are looking for reinforcement at the Frankfurt location starting immediately within the framework of temporary employment. In the position as Purchaser (m/f/d), you will support strategic procurement in the independent procurement of goods and services, particularly in the area of planning and construction services. You will manage tenders and award processes, conduct negotiations, and actively participate in the further development of efficient procurement and product group strategies. An extension of the assignment as well as a possible permanent takeover beyond 30.08.2027 are fundamentally intended in the event of appropriate performance, but cannot be bindingly promised at this time.

Your tasks:

• Independent procurement of goods and services, particularly in the area of planning and construction services
• Execution and management of tenders, electronic auctions, and award processes, as well as conducting price and contract negotiations
• Analysis of procurement markets and development of sustainable procurement and product group strategies
• Management and further development of supplier and contract management – from cooperation with suppliers to operational contract processing
• Analysis of procurement KPIs as well as participation in the optimization of procurement processes, quality standards, and savings potential in cooperation with various interfaces

Your profile:

• Completed commercial vocational training, ideally with additional qualification in procurement or materials management
• Sound professional experience in strategic procurement, particularly in the procurement of planning and construction services, is mandatory
• Confident handling of materials management systems and digital tools; SAP knowledge is an advantage
• Good understanding of analysis and evaluation methods as well as economic contexts in procurement
• Structured, independent, and solution-oriented way of working, as well as strong communication skills and enjoyment of teamwork
• Good English skills in spoken and written form
