We are currently seeking an experienced Site Construction Engineer to join the construction team of the Tsiknia Dam (Lesvos).

Main Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all concrete constructions (buildings, pumping stations, reservoirs, tunnels, technical works)
• Preparation and checking of Civil Engineering work quantity surveys
• Implementation of studies in the field and proposals for technical optimizations, where required
• Planning of needs and ordering of materials in cooperation with the Procurement Department
• Checking the quality certificates of materials
• Coordination and effective management of subcontractors and partners
• Monitoring the progress of works and ensuring compliance with the project schedule
• Implementation of Health & Safety rules on the project
• Ensuring the quality of constructions according to the technical specifications and project standards
• Recording project data, such as work progress (maintenance and updating of the project log) and the cost per project section
• Timely identification and effective resolution of construction problems

Required Qualifications:

• Degree in Civil Engineering
• At least 5 years of professional experience in a similar position in the construction industry, especially in infrastructure projects
• Experience in site management and construction activity
• Knowledge of relevant legislation regarding public works and the regulations governing construction projects
• Ability to analyze and interpret construction drawings and technical specifications
• Very good knowledge of Microsoft Office (mainly Excel) and AutoCAD
• Good knowledge of the English language
• Very good communication and organizational skills
• Ability to solve problems effectively
