MACHINING METHODS TECH - CAM M/F
Akkodis France's Consulting & Solutions service line is strengthening its regional teams and is recruiting a CAM Methods Technician M/F under a contract to be defined, located within an industry in the aeronautics and aviation sector. This position offers the opportunity to participate in the development and optimization of machining processes within a demanding industrial environment, in connection with CAM programming and the production of complex parts.
Main responsibilities:
Analyze technical drawings and specifications to prepare CAM programs adapted to production requirements.
Develop and optimize machining processes using CAM software such as CATIA, Mastercam or equivalent.
Program CNC machine tools while respecting technical constraints and specific materials.
Collaborate with production teams to guarantee the feasibility and efficiency of programs.
Control and validate CAM programs before production, ensuring rigor and technical compliance.
Ensure the maintenance and updating of CAM databases and participate in the continuous improvement of machining methods.
Train and support operators on the use of CAM programs and robot trajectories.
Work environment:
The position is set within an industrial context oriented towards mold preparation, draping, and CNC machining, including robot trajectory programming. The methodology relies on the mastery of CAM tools and close collaboration with production teams and support services. Management is oriented towards continuous improvement and skill sharing, with the possibility of supporting and training operators.
Profile
You have a degree in a field such as BTS CPRP (Conception des Processus de Réalisation de Produits) or equivalent, level bac+2. All experiences are considered, from beginner to experienced, in the field of industrial machining, ideally in the aeronautics or aviation sector. You master CAM software (CATIA, Mastercam, or equivalent), CNC programming, and have an in-depth knowledge of machining techniques and materials. Your ability to interpret complex technical drawings, your analytical skills, and your rigor are indispensable. Skills in project management, technical innovation, and adaptation to technological evolutions are recommended. You know how to work in a team, communicate with support services, and support operators. Proficiency in office tools is required. Experience in operational management would be an asset.
