HVAC Thermal Engineer M/F

The Consulting & Solutions service line of Akkodis France is strengthening its regional teams and is recruiting an HVAC Thermal Engineer M/F. This position offers the opportunity to work on large-scale projects in the industrial sector, ensuring the design, analysis, and optimization of complex thermal systems. You will be at the heart of varied missions, from simulation to the management of specialized construction sites, particularly in the nuclear or HVAC field.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze the thermal performance of systems and components, and propose solutions adapted to project requirements.
• Perform advanced thermal simulations using specialized software such as ANSYS or COMSOL.
• Collaborate with design teams to integrate thermal constraints and ensure compliance with safety standards.
• Perform tests, validations, and quality monitoring of thermal devices in the laboratory and on-site.
• Prepare and organize associated ventilation and electrical work, ensuring the management of site teams and the coordination of subcontractors.
• Monitor the safety of workers and guarantee the quality of work via LOMC (Listes d'Opérations de Montage et de Contrôle).
• Prepare technical reports detailing results and recommendations, and ensure the client interface on-site.

Working environment:

You will operate in a demanding technical context where knowledge of nuclear HVAC environments constitutes an asset. The organization of work involves frequent interactions with multidisciplinary teams, the preparation and management of construction sites, as well as safety and quality monitoring. You will be required to coordinate different stakeholders and ensure the interface with clients on-site.

Candidate profile

With higher education in thermal engineering, energy engineering, or equivalent, you have 5 to 10 years of experience in work supervision on the installer side, ideally acquired on nuclear HVAC construction sites. You are proficient in thermal simulation software (ANSYS, COMSOL), CAD, and possess solid knowledge of heat transfer and thermodynamics. Understanding of thermal standards and regulations, documentary rigor, as well as skills in project management, communication, and team management are expected. Experience in subcontractor coordination and safety/quality monitoring on-site is appreciated. Your adaptability, analytical skills, and team spirit will allow you to succeed in this position.
