Missions

Akkodis France's Consulting & Solutions service line is strengthening its teams in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and is recruiting a Railway System Engineer M/F on a CDI basis in Aytré. This position is part of the railway automotive sector, within a team dedicated to the design and validation of complex systems for railway transport. You will work on innovative projects, directly linked to the challenges of safety, performance, and regulatory compliance.

Main responsibilities:

• Design and validate railway system architectures according to client and internal requirements.
• Ensure technical coordination between the different disciplines and subsystems of the project.
• Manage functional analyses, write and develop technical specifications.
• Participate in the definition of safety requirements and the regulatory compliance of the system.
• Allocate and develop cross-functional requirements in collaboration with business specialists.
• Define the train architecture, operating modes, and functions, then perform FMEA with the Reliability and Safety teams.
• Monitor the integration, testing, and validation of embedded systems, including writing test plans and fine-tuning functions.
• Ensure reporting on activity progress, support risk management, and optimize quality/costs/deadlines.

Work environment:

You will work within a multidisciplinary team, in constant interaction with technical experts, system architects, safety and reliability specialists, as well as project teams. The applied methodology is oriented towards system engineering, with strong involvement in development, validation, and technical interface management. Collaborative tools, DOORS for requirements management and CATIA for modeling, are at the heart of daily activity. The environment is dynamic, focused on innovation and the collaborative resolution of technical issues.

Candidate profile

With a BAC+3/4 degree in engineering, you have 4 years of studied experience, ideally acquired in the railway or transport sector. You master system engineering principles applied to railway, as well as safety standards and industrial standards.

Knowledge of embedded systems and railway electronic technologies is appreciated. You are comfortable with DOORS and CATIA tools, and possess skills in project management, multi-disciplinary coordination, and technical specification writing.

A good level of technical English is required to interact with international suppliers. Your sense of organization, your spirit of initiative, and your ability to propose innovative solutions will be assets for succeeding in this position.
