Chemistry Supervisor Engineer M/F

Akkodis France's Consulting & Solutions service line is strengthening its regional teams and is recruiting a Chemistry Supervisor Engineer M/F on a permanent contract (CDI). This position is within the aeronautics and aviation sector, with the mission to supervise chemical operations on the production site, manage technical teams, and ensure compliance with safety and quality standards. You will evolve in a demanding industrial environment where continuous improvement projects and operational performance are at the heart of your responsibilities.

Main responsibilities:

• Supervise chemical operations on the production site and ensure compliance with safety, quality, and environmental standards.
• Organize, motivate, and coordinate technical teams (at least 35 employees) and external contractors, while managing unforeseen events.
• Drive sector performance, control the quality of chemical products and processes, and implement corrective actions.
• Deploy and support continuous improvement actions (LEAP methodology, PSM1/PSM2) and participate in the analysis of non-conformities.
• Manage maintenance schedules, supplies, and ensure the load/capacity balance.
• Train and supervise operators, participate in the recruitment process, and promote upward, downward, and transversal communication.
• Write technical reports, analyze production data to optimize performance, and ensure the application of HSE procedures.

Work environment:

The position reports to the UAP Manager or a department manager. You will work in a demanding industrial environment, in connection with various functional teams and coordinators (quality, methods, logistics, HSE). Managing multidisciplinary teams, supervising continuous improvement projects, using production management tools, and strict adherence to safety and environmental standards are at the core of the role.

Profile

A graduate of a Master's degree or an engineering school in chemical engineering or equivalent, you have 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar position within an industrial context, ideally in aeronautics or aviation. You have mastered industrial chemical processes, chemical safety standards, as well as IT tools and production management software. Experience in team management, leadership, technical analysis, and communication is required. Knowledge of chemical modeling software, project management tools, environmental regulations, and proficiency in technical English are appreciated. You demonstrate an ability to work in a multidisciplinary team, a sense of initiative, and autonomy in decision-making.
