Methods Engineer M/F

The Consulting & Solutions service line of Akkodis France is strengthening its regional teams and is recruiting an industrial Methods Engineer in the Aerospace and Aviation sector. This position, open to various levels of experience, is intended for profiles passionate about industrial process optimization and continuous improvement. You will be a key player in industrial performance within a dynamic team.

Main responsibilities:

Analyze and optimize production processes to improve industrial performance.

Design and implement working methods adapted to technical and economic constraints.

Collaborate with production, quality, and maintenance teams to ensure operational continuity.

Develop technical documents such as process plans, work instructions, and procedures.

Lead continuous improvement projects while respecting defined deadlines and budgets.

Conduct feasibility studies and cost analyses for new installations or modifications.

Monitor performance indicators and propose corrective actions.

Train personnel on new methods and tools developed.

Review and validate definition files.

Conduct preliminary & detailed risk analyses.

Lead industrial milestone reviews and PPAP.

Fill in various management files.

Ensure compliance with the industrialization schedule for assigned activities.

Perform necessary and sufficient reporting to alert in case of blockages.

Work environment:

You will operate in a demanding industrial context, within multidisciplinary teams oriented towards operational excellence. The work environment includes regular interactions with production, quality, and maintenance departments, as well as the management of industrialization projects. The methodological approach is based on process analysis tools, Lean Manufacturing, and risk management, with a strong culture of collaboration and innovation.

Candidate profile

A graduate of higher technical training (Bac+2 to Bac+5) in industrial engineering, mechanics, production, or equivalent, you have acquired experience in process optimization or industrial methods, ideally in the aeronautical or industrial sector. Proficiency in process modeling tools (Visio, AutoCAD, etc.), office software (Excel, Word, PowerPoint), and technical data management is expected. Knowledge of quality and safety standards, Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma tools, and industrial automation principles is an asset. Your organizational skills, analytical abilities, and team spirit are essential to succeed in this position. All experience levels will be considered.
