Environmental Engineer M/F
The Consulting & Solutions service line of Akkodis France is strengthening its regional teams and is recruiting an Environmental Engineer M/F on a permanent contract (CDI). This position is part of the Manufacturing and Production sector, with the main mission of ensuring the environmental regulatory compliance of industrial products, particularly regarding substance management, documentation, and declarations, while contributing to the creation and updating of Product Environmental Profiles (PEP).
Main responsibilities:
- Perform environmental impact assessments for industrial or urban projects and ensure the compliance of activities with environmental regulations (local and international).
- Design and implement waste management plans and pollutant emission reduction plans.
- Monitor, collect, and analyze environmental data, structure product/substance databases, and propose corrective actions.
- Write technical reports, regulatory files, and perform declarations (REACH, EOHS, other international requirements).
- Participate in the creation and updating of PEP (Product Environmental Profiles) and the standardization of internal processes.
- Collaborate with internal teams (R&D, quality, industrialization) and external stakeholders to integrate environmental requirements.
- Conduct environmental audits, propose improvements, and raise awareness/train personnel on environmental best practices.
Work environment:
You will operate in an international industrial context, interacting with multidisciplinary teams and various stakeholders (R&D, quality, production). The missions involve complex regulatory aspects, document management, the use of specialized tools (GIS, environmental modeling software), and the structuring of databases. The ability to work autonomously, structure information, and provide back-office support will be essential. Candidate profile A graduate with a Master's degree (environmental, materials, chemistry engineer or equivalent), you have in-depth knowledge of environmental regulations, particularly REACH, and a sensitivity to chemical substance issues. Experience in environmental data management, technical report writing, and project management is expected. Proficiency in specialized IT tools (GIS, modeling software, databases) is required. Fluent English is indispensable for operating in an international environment. Junior profiles are considered, with a capacity for progressive autonomy, rigor, organization, and an open mind. Experience in environmental audits or ISO 14001 certifications, as well as an understanding of PEP or LCA, constitutes an asset.
