Electronic Diagnostic Engineer M/F

The Consulting & Solutions service line of Akkodis France is strengthening its regional teams and is recruiting an Electronic Diagnostic Engineer M/F in the automotive sector in Bordeaux.

Main responsibilities:

• Analyze and diagnose the embedded electrical and electronic systems of vehicles
• Collaborate with development teams and business experts to identify and address technical defects, ensuring the coordination of analyses
• Perform and monitor functional tests, validations, and diagnostic plans in interaction with internal laboratories
• Write detailed diagnostic reports, ensure their traceability, and propose corrective solutions according to standards and client requirements
• Ensure system compliance with automotive standards and quality expectations, while driving the continuous improvement of diagnostic processes
• Manage technical incidents and provide support to field teams, participate in training on new tools and technologies
• Ensure regular reporting to management and participate in internal and client follow-up meetings

Work environment:

You will be integrated into the Diagnostic Center team, under the supervision of the Diagnostic Center Manager. The position involves frequent interactions with technicians, internal laboratories, and business experts from the Test, Quality, Validation, and Product departments. You will be responsible for the traceability of analyses and the compliance of deliverables according to internal processes. The environment is dynamic, requiring a strong ability to adapt to rapid technological evolutions and excellent multidisciplinary collaboration.

Candidate profile

With a Master's degree (Bac+5) in electricity, electrochemistry, or an equivalent field related to Li-ion batteries, you have more than 5 years of experience in validation, battery testing, and E/E system diagnostics in an automotive industrial environment. You master communication protocols (CAN, LIN, FlexRay), diagnostic tools (oscilloscope, network analyzer), as well as anomaly and test management software. Knowledge of embedded programming (C, C++), physical and electrical measurements, electrochemical manufacturing processes, and 8D methodology would be appreciated. Your analytical skills, writing skills, and ability to work in a multidisciplinary team are expected. Technical English is required for reading and writing international documentation.
