Cloud DevOps Engineer (M/F)

Akkodis France's Consulting & Solutions service line is strengthening its teams in the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region and is recruiting a Cloud DevOps Engineer on a permanent contract (CDI) in Bordeaux. This position is part of the program to build the new IT system for a major player in banking and financial services. As a Cloud DevOps Engineer, you will play a key role in the automation, standardization, and maintenance of the internal technical platform, facilitating the deployment and operation of business applications.

Main responsibilities:

• Automate the deployment of applications in cloud environments, particularly on Microsoft Azure.
• Manage and maintain the cloud infrastructure to ensure availability, security, and compliance.
• Collaborate with development, SRE, and security teams to integrate DevOps and Platform Engineering practices.
• Implement and optimize CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab, ArgoCD, GitVersion.
• Improve application observability via Grafana, Prometheus/Thanos, ElasticSearch, Dynatrace, and OpsGenie alerting.
• Interpret alerts, investigate technical incidents, and contribute to the correction of security vulnerabilities (ORCA).
• Participate in the design, evolution, and standardization of the product-oriented internal technical platform.

Work environment:

You will join a multidisciplinary team composed of DevOps engineers, platform engineers, DBAs, and technical architects, working in an agile (Scrum, Kanban) and product-oriented context. The technical environment is based on Azure, Kubernetes (AKS), Docker, Linux (Ubuntu/Debian), Terraform, Ansible, and Python. You will be required to collaborate cross-functionally with development, SRE, and security teams, while participating in evangelization and training on the internal platform.

Candidate Profile

• Holder of a Master's degree in engineering or equivalent, you have a minimum of 5 years of experience in DevOps and cloud environments, ideally on Azure.
• You master DevOps concepts (State Of DevOps Report), automation with Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and container orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker).
• You have solid experience in scripting (Python, Bash, PowerShell), CI/CD (Gitlab, ArgoCD), observability (Grafana, Prometheus, ElasticSearch, Dynatrace), database management (SQLServer, MySQL, MongoDB), and Linux systems.
• Knowledge of Agile/Scrum methodologies, monitoring tools, cloud security best practices, as well as notions in networking (VirtualWan, AzureFirewall, Imperva), Windows Server, NodeJS, Dotnet, and Playwright are assets.
• Your analytical mindset, solution orientation, and communication skills will allow you to work effectively in a team and support development teams.
