Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced C++ Software Developer to join a dynamic engineering team working on complex, integrated software systems. The role involves hands-on development, software integration, debugging and troubleshooting within Linux/Unix environments, working closely with cross-functional and global engineering teams.

The ideal candidate will have strong C++ development experience, solid software engineering fundamentals, and exposure to system integration or embedded environments. This is an opportunity to work on technically challenging projects within a structured, engineering-focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, integrate and maintain software applications using C++ .
• Translate technical and functional requirements into robust software solutions.
• Develop and debug applications in Linux/Unix environments .
• Perform software integration, troubleshooting and root-cause analysis.
• Write and maintain unit and integration tests to ensure software quality.
• Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions and software architecture activities.
• Work closely with software engineers, system engineers, testers and global teams to deliver integrated solutions.
• Manage software defects and contribute to continuous improvement of development practices.
• Support technical documentation, estimation, planning and bid activities where required.
• Travel to Europe approximately once every two months for up to two weeks per trip.

Required Skills & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering or related discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of software development experience , with strong hands-on C++ experience.
• Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming and software development principles .
• Experience with Linux/Unix , debugging and system integration.
• Experience with Git, CMake/Make, GCC/GDB or similar development tools.
• Good understanding of software testing, defect management and SDLC.
• Strong analytical, troubleshooting and communication skills.
• Comfortable working with cross-functional and globally distributed teams .

Preferred

• Experience with embedded systems, Android, networking, APIs or hardware/software integration .
• Exposure to Docker, Kubernetes or Linux scripting .
• Experience in mission-critical or large-scale integrated systems.
• Exposure to Agile development, technical estimation or work-package management.
