Test & Validation Technician (Mechatronics) - 6-month Fixed-Term Contract Renewable (M/F)

Our client is an industrial company in the medical field.

Main Missions:

Anticipate and prepare upcoming tests:

• Participate in writing and implementing test procedures (test plans / test scenarios, etc.).
• Set up "test benches" on targeted sub-assemblies.

Execution and monitoring of tests:

• Design / optimization of test benches: Hardware realization, hydraulic assembly, wiring.
• Perform functionality, performance, endurance, and repeatability tests.
• Perform generic and multidisciplinary tests (unit module tests, integration tests, full machine tests, etc.).
• Precisely describe and report observed incidents and problems.
• Participate in the monitoring and updating of the calibration of the measurement instruments used.

Conclusions / Analysis of test results:

• Write test reports / Format and document the results obtained.
• Formulate hypotheses and participate in the analysis of test results and data regarding the various causes of problems encountered (functionality, performance, bugs, error logs, etc.).
• Provide feedback on the use and operation of the "test benches" and the machine (user experience).

Mission Conditions:

• Long-term technical assistance mission
• Hybrid remote work: 2 days per week
• TJM: €200 - €330 excl. tax depending on profile

Profile Sought:

Minimum of a Bac +2 degree in Mechatronics or equivalent.

Experience Sought:

• Testing machines in multidisciplinary fields (ideally in the medical devices sector).
• Formalizing experiments performed and results obtained.
• Writing precise and detailed reports.

Required Technical Skills:

• General technical knowledge (mechanics, electronics, software, etc.).
• Familiar with various measurement devices (laboratory power supply, various sensors, datalogger, oscilloscope/multimeter, etc.).
• Ability to identify and diagnose problems.
• Proficiency in Office 365 suite.

Optional Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in C#.
• Knowledge of Solidworks.
• Knowledge of medical standards.
• Experience in industrialization and production ramp-up of products, ideally in the medical or related sector.
• Use of bug tracking software.
