Junior/Strong Junior Python Developer
Ajax Systems — an international technology company and the largest manufacturer of security systems in Europe. We are looking for a specialist for the QA Devices Automation unit for the role of Junior/Strong Junior Python Developer.
The QA unit guarantees the quality and stability of Ajax products at all stages — from development to mass production. Hundreds of experts conduct comprehensive testing of software and hardware, combining manual and automated approaches to verify systems in the most challenging conditions.
Required knowledge and skills: Python 3.11+ (confident proficiency)
Experience with pytest
Experience with GIT
Understanding of OOP principles and design patterns
Experience with Docker (containerization, Docker Compose)
Experience with PyQt, PySide
Confident user of UNIX/Linux OS
Experience with bash
Basic understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, HTTP)
English language - Pre-intermediate (at the level of understanding documentation);
Will be a plus: Experience with pyqtgraph
Working with hardware and serial communications
Experience with Kubernetes, AWS
Experience with FastAPI/Flask
Experience with Django
Responsibilities: Development of Python applications and scripts for automating internal processes
Creation of PyQt graphical interfaces for testing tools and hardware interaction
Development and maintenance of services for working with devices (UART, TCP, communication protocols)
Setup and maintenance of infrastructure: Docker, CI/CD, system services
Creation of utilities and tools to simplify the work of Manual QA
Working with databases (MySQL, MongoDB)
Data processing and analysis (data processing & parsing)
Integration with external APIs and services
