Head of Legal

We are looking for a Head of Legal to join our team and help ensure high results and efficiency in a rapidly growing, dynamic organization. In this position, you will be responsible for all legal matters of the company, including compliance, risk management, contracts, intellectual property, litigation, corporate governance, and providing legal support to top management. The role involves strategic participation in business development, scaling the legal function in accordance with the company's growth, as well as influencing key business decisions at the top management level.

Key Responsibilities Provide legal support for the company's activities in Ukraine and international markets.

Be responsible for corporate, commercial, and contract law, including international distribution agreements.

Ensure compliance, risk management, sanctions, and export control.

Manage IP protection and data protection issues.

Interact with government and law enforcement agencies of Ukraine.

Provide legal support to Finance on tax matters and Supply Chain on customs legislation.

Manage and develop the legal team.

Provide legal support to the CEO and top management in making business decisions.

Scale the legal function in accordance with business development.

Who we are looking for: 10+ years of legal experience.

3+ years in a leadership legal position in an international company or a leading law firm.

Higher legal education; LL.M. and international education are a plus.

Deep expertise in corporate and commercial law, experience and expertise in criminal law.

Experience working with international jurisdictions, manufacturing companies, and global operations.

Practical experience in commercial contracts, distribution, data protection, sanctions legislation, export control, and compliance.

Experience managing a legal team.

Strong business-oriented mindset and the ability to transform legal expertise into practical business solutions.

Strong negotiation, communication, and leadership skills.

Fluent English (oral and written).
