Embedded/Hardware developer

Ajax Systems — an international technology company and the largest manufacturer of security systems in Europe. We are looking for a new player for the Prod Automation Departament unit for the position of Embedded/Hardware developer.

Prod Automation Departament ensures the stability of mass production and the launch of new production locations. The team develops unified and modular solutions, optimizes line efficiency, and works on reducing process costs without losing product quality.

The team develops a system for the serial production of high-quality devices. The Embedded/Hardware developer works at all levels: from creating PC software (including UI, databases, and hardware interaction) to developing embedded software and electronics for industrial equipment. Team interaction, thoughtful architecture, and structured solutions play an important role, allowing projects to be effectively scaled and maintained.

Main tasks: development of electronics with a complex analog part, where system accuracy is a key parameter;

writing software for various microcontroller architectures;

writing software for PC and single-board computers (Orange PI, Raspberry PI) in the following areas: digital processing of analog signals, drivers for peripheral devices, network protocols, high-level logic of a distributed application, working with GUI frontend (QML), working with DB, software for controlling mechanics (understanding the flow of physical processes);

interaction with the design team to implement the mechanics of specialized equipment;

testing and debugging of developed electronics and assembled equipment;

creating documentation describing the operation of the developed devices.

Required knowledge and skills: technical education;

experience in the development and debugging of analog devices;

commercial experience in development for 32-bit microcontrollers;

ability to use version control systems, for example git;

ability to use a soldering station (mounting 0402 components), an oscilloscope;

creating electronics documentation using CAD;

fluent understanding of technical documentation in English.

Will be a plus: experience working in Altium designer;

basic knowledge of Python (if no similar experience exists, be ready to learn);

commercial experience in developing projects using OOP;

commercial experience in developing projects that are supported for a long time and worked on by a team of at least three people;

understanding the requirements and needs of mass electronics production.
