Job Description
Investigate and manage marine cargo claims from notification through settlement. Review cargo insurance policies, terms and conditions Prepare clear narrative reports and recommendations to clients on policy liability. Identify and pursue subrogation/recovery claims against liable third parties. Maintain strong client relationships and develop industry relationships
Job Requirements
- Experienced in marine cargo claims, maritime law, insurance claims, loss adjusting or a related field, and able to work independently.
- Analytical, organised and confident assessing policy coverage and liability.
- A strong communicator and negotiator.
- Comfortable meeting people, networking and building relationships.
- Someone who looks for solutions and is interested in improving how the business operates.
- Experience in subrogation/recovery and third-party liability claims is an advantage.
- Relevant insurance, maritime or professional qualifications are advantageous.
