Technical Support Metrology Expert (all genders) (Engineer - Electrical Engineering)

Your Challenge

• With your competence and expertise, you support our customers, colleagues, cooperation partners, as well as our worldwide service centers. You process support requests technically and organizationally and ensure sustainable solutions.
• You independently create and revise technical documents such as training materials, work instructions, or manuals and support our specialist departments in the creation or revision of corresponding documents.
• As a technical expert, you contribute your knowledge to development projects, in specialist department teams, in the application laboratory, as well as in internal and external quality audits.
• You support our training center in conducting technical training for customers and employees – particularly with regard to relevant technology systems and their integration into our system platforms.
• You also contribute your expertise effectively on-site at our customers' locations in global markets. In doing so, you move confidently and securely within the respective cultural environment.
• You identify potential for improvement by linking field experience with customer feedback and preparing it transparently in order to incorporate optimizations into the respective business processes.

What you bring to the role

• Completed studies in a natural science or engineering subject such as Physics, Technical Physics, Physical Engineering, Physical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a comparable course of study
• Sound knowledge in technical optics and optical measurement technology, industrial measurement, control, and regulation technology, as well as in common network technology
• Basic knowledge in physical optics and wave optics as well as their applications and interactions in solid-state physics
• Basic knowledge in Electrical Engineering
• Independent, self-reliant way of working in a team as well as a sense of responsibility and commitment
• Good English skills in speaking and writing as well as confident handling of MS Office
• Team-oriented, energetic, and open personality who enjoys facing new challenges and is willing to undertake occasional worldwide business trips
