Your mission

***Tax compliance and optimization are essential levers to support the company's growth and competitiveness strategy.

Reporting to the Head of Accounting, Consolidation & Tax, you will act as a key expert across a very broad tax scope.

Your role consists of guaranteeing the tax security of our operations, while actively supporting our strategic projects.

To this end, your main mission will be to ensure the global management of the company's taxation, manage tax audits, and support our international subsidiaries.***

Your main missions will consist of:

• Tax management: monitoring and compliance of all taxes related to corporate taxation for Airbus Atlantic SAS by adopting a 'risk management' approach (securing) and a reporting operations management approach (improving processes): IS, TVA, property taxes, CIR, DAS2, transfer pricing documentation.
• International reach: fluid and educational interactions with our subsidiaries (Morocco, Tunisia, Canada, Portugal) to advise them and supervise their local and cross-border tax issues, with particular support on compliance with transfer pricing regulations. A French subsidiary will also require your expertise.
• Management of tax audits: end-to-end management of tax audits for Airbus Atlantic SAS by defending the company's interests with rigor and diplomacy. Support for tax audits of subsidiaries.
• Strategic support: providing your technical expertise during the company's legal operations, including restructuring operations (M&A) and, more broadly, securing the tax aspects of the company's major projects.
• IT support: supporting finance and IT teams during information system evolutions, by guaranteeing the reliability of tax data within our tools (mainly SAP).

The tax team consists of two tax specialists to carry out the assigned mission, with many interactions to be expected: with Airbus counterparts, external advisors, sometimes statutory auditors, often legal teams, as well as the Customs and Logistics team, M&A teams, ADV, IT, and more generally any employee or team that has a project with tax implications.

These interactions are essential to be able to understand the business need and thus propose 'compliant' and optimized tax schemes while meeting requirements.***

Your profile (What will make the difference)

We are looking for candidates possessing the following values, aptitudes, and skills:

• A solid higher education in tax law or excellent mastery of accounting and tax impacts through acquired experience
• Several years of proven experience in a tax function, ideally with international exposure.
• Mastery of English is essential
• Good mastery of IT tools, including SAP
• Analytical, pragmatic mindset and a strong orientation towards finding solutions
• Rigor, autonomy, and the ability to propose improvements for existing processes
• Ability to communicate pedagogically and to give meaning to figures and tax issues to non-expert interlocutors
