Aerospace Test and Integration Engineer (M/F)

Job Description:***Airbus Defence & Space* is looking for a *Space Systems Test IT Engineer (m/f)* to join our *Assembly, Integration and Test (AIT)* entity based in *Toulouse*, France.***Your missions You will be part of a team that develops cutting-edge technological infrastructures for satellites*. Within the systems preparation department, *you will be responsible for the integrity of the test benches *(notably the Central Checkout System - CCS), critical equipment ensuring the link between operators and the satellite in the cleanroom.***Your role consists of managing databases and the simulation infrastructure to guarantee the reliability of tests in extreme environments* (vibrations, thermal vacuum, electromagnetic compatibility) As a *technical referent* for Earth Observation (EO) programs and European Space Agency (ESA) projects, you will ensure technical synchronization and activity coordination for all these products.Your responsibilities Technical management and infrastructure expertiseManage* the administration, configuration, and maintenance of test benches (human-machine interfaces, networks, communication protocols, and virtualized environments) Design* and generate the complex databases necessary for test campaigns.***Supervise* the compliance of technical services performed by external partners.

Development, Automation and Innovation***Develop* scripts and automation tools to optimize database generation and test processes.***Implement* continuous improvement solutions and drive technological innovation initiatives within the sector.***Master* the deployment lifecycle via DevOps practices (automation and continuous integration) Project Management, Quality and Compliance***Plan* production activities in close collaboration with project managers and team leaders.***Guarantee* traceability and deviation management (technical modification sheets) via workflow management tools (ticketing) Ensure* the application of industrial quality processes and manage the integration of feedback for method optimization.

Coordination and Interface***Act as a key technical interface* between engineering teams (electronics and systems) and various client programs.***Coordinate* technical exchanges with program management teams to ensure alignment of objectives.MANDATORY This position requires security clearance or requires eligibility for clearance by recognized authorities.The candidate must possess French nationality in accordance with IGI 1300 of August 9, 2021 (.1.2.2.1 Your profile Technical skills Engineering background* specialized in* Industrial Computing, Embedded Systems, or Networks.***Confirmed mastery* of Linux system administration and virtualization technologies.***Confirmed mastery* in programming (Python, Java, Bash) and *practice of DevOps tools* (such as Ansible, Jenkins, or Terraform) Solid knowledge of networks* and *communication protocols. Knowledge of CCS* (OcBridge, CCS5, OpenCenter) and RangeDB will be a plus.

Advanced English level* required for operating in an international context.***Hours and travel Business travel is to be expected (once or twice a year in Europe or at launch sites) Regularly, you will be required to work on call (approximately 1 week per month (nights and weekends, public holidays) to cover tests.
