Your tasks

Job Description:***Business Unit Safety Ensuring long-term safety, reliability, airworthiness, and performance optimization of solutions/systems for current and new transport means.* Our mission is to improve safety by contributing to new safety standards, ensuring regulatory compliance, and ensuring that end users are always protected.

Missions & Responsibilities:Perform tasks related to the design of helicopter rotor systems with various Airbus internal and external interfaces within the defined work framework (Example: with the calculation department, the materials and processes department, with production. Mastery of composite design will be required for this mission (3D design on Catia V5, knowledge of the CPD module would be a real plus, creation and reading of 2D composite layup plans, BOM. Support industrialization / production / repair & maintenance of rotor systems and helicopter blades: provide continuous support as a design office member for manufacturing deviations to resolve quality issues and part non-conformitiesFollow design change requests (Retrofits or new solutions), be able to assist and justify design choices in boards. Knowledge of the Change Board Process (ECR/ECP) would be a real plus.***Write and update documents (technical notes and descriptions, specifications, maintenance TN, certification doc). Manage suppliers for product development (from project launch to certification): management of deliverables, weekly meetings, equipment management (defining specifications, maturity process). Management of (or part of) projects and preparation of summary progress reports.

Requirements

The skills that matter to us:Holder of an engineering degree or equivalent or a specialization in mechanics and composites, ideally related to aerospaceYou have a mastery of the design and manufacturing principles of composite parts.You are attracted to design in connection with production, you like mechanics and the demanding high-quality industry.Having knowledge of helicopter rotor and blade systems and helicopter dynamic systems would be a plus.You have the ability to develop ideas, to research innovative solutions, concepts for new technologies and practical solutions for industrial manufacturing applicationsYou possess experience in critical parts / design of high-load systems as well as notions of stress simulation and analysisYou are used to working with DMU and 3D product structure tools (such as Catia V5, VPM and other configuration management tools (such as Windchill).
