We are looking on behalf of our client Airbus Helicopters, an aerospace manufacturer, for a Materials - Processes / Projects / Obsolescence Engineer (Aerospace sector) (M/F) - Operational or fluent English spoken. As part of this 6-month replacement mission, based in Marignane, within a technical scope oriented towards cross-functional topics centered on chemical products, resins, solvents, glues, and plastics/polymers (WS2 Organic scope: thermosets, thermoplastics, adhesives, seals, surface treatments). Your role is to intervene in the daily management of issues, support the Team Leader, and act as a relay between the leader and the team.
Thus, you are in charge of:
--> Activity Steering & Project Management: Autonomous management of a multitude of small cross-functional projects.
--> Cross-functional Coordination: Multi-functional coordination (MFT) without hierarchical links with various departments (Design Office, Programs, Purchasing/PSO, Logistics, Quality, Suppliers) to move topics forward.
--> M&P Obsolescence Management:
- Impact analysis on the helicopter fleet (verification of impacted work instructions).
- Evaluation and validation of resolution scenarios (redesign, end-of-life orders, material qualification, etc.).
- Monitoring of activity portfolios, milestones, and verification of compliance with deadlines and processes.
--> Animation & Communication:
- Preparation and facilitation of follow-up meetings and project reviews.
- Focal point to align stakeholders and ensure decisions are implemented.
--> Reacting to current emergencies and constantly readjusting priorities based on obsolescence or shortage alerts.
