This position is located within the Airbus Helicopters Design Office organization within the Maintenance and Ground Operations department.

You will work within this department (approximately 70 employees, distributed between Marignane and Donauwörth, our German site) and you will be responsible for the development of ground operations (transport of helicopters by air/sea/road, ship deck operations, towing, parking, mooring, etc.) and the design of associated tooling.

Ground Handling and Ground Support Equipment activity is paramount; their availability can jeopardize helicopter delivery or ground them during service.

Your profile: You are a mechanical engineer (or holder of an equivalent degree) You have proven experience in mechanical design. You are proficient in CATIA V5; notions of pre-dimensioning calculation are a plus. You are reliable, autonomous, and organized. You demonstrate organization and a great sense of responsibility to manage several development projects in parallel. You have a good team spirit and good communication skills. A sufficient level of English for negotiation is indispensable to evolve in an international project environment.
