Airbus Helicopters is looking for an Electrical Systems Design and Test Manager (f/m) to join the Electrical Power & Lighting Systems department based in Marignane, France.

Your future missions:
By joining our team, you will participate in various missions, all oriented towards the design, integration, and qualification of electrical generation, conversion, and distribution solutions. Together, we will contribute to the activity of the Electrical Power & Lighting Systems department dedicated to existing helicopter fleets as well as new R&D programs and projects (ADAV / VTOL). Integrated into the Airbus Helicopters Design Office, the department relies on a transnational team of approximately 45 engineers distributed between the Marignane and Donauwörth sites.
Your main missions will be as follows: Specify, develop, qualify/certify, and support electrical equipment autonomously, relying on the latest electrical and electronic technologies. Manage the supplier relationship, from drafting specifications to the final industrialization of components. Provide evidence of compliance demonstration and support the systems certification process. Define and execute tests on helicopters or within the electrical systems laboratory. Design electrical test benches in the laboratory (measurement and control systems) and write the associated test reports. Provide technical support to assembly lines and customers (troubleshooting, definition of maintenance and inspection operations).
Your profile: Technical expertise: Strong skills in electricity, electronics, power conversion, electrical networks, and electrical testing activities. Language: Fluent / professional English (daily work within a transnational team). Soft skills: Autonomy, team spirit, technical rigor, analytical capacity, and problem-solving skills.
