** Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• Holistic support and further development of the software development platform in the avionics environment (Plan, Build, Operate).
• Automation of provisioning with regard to configuration, packaging, and automated installation of the development environment using scripting and modern deployment tools.
• Construction and operation of own infrastructure with a focus on the conception and administration of server landscapes to ensure independence and tool availability.
• Conception, construction, and maintenance of a central tool and license database for the transparent management of software, costs, users, and contracts.
• Technical analysis and control for problem-solving in complex issues within the development environment, as well as the derivation of sustainable process improvements.
• Monitoring and technical control of external service providers in the creation and maintenance of the tool landscape.
• Monitoring, adaptation, and optimization of software design and requirement processes.
• Implementation and optimization of a problem reporting system (e.g., via JIRA) for structured error analysis and service control.
• Ensuring continuous availability through proactive license management, monitoring, procurement processes, and cost control.
• Support in the integration of AI-supported engineering tools and software development processes.

** Desired Skills and Qualifications

• University degree in software development or in a related field
• Experience and understanding of modern software development methods, system engineering processes, and the integration of AI
• Experience in the automation of infrastructure processes (Infrastructure as Code/Scripting) and in the packaging of software.
• Experience in the operation and configuration of development systems as well as in the field of system and network technology (server operation, license servers).
• Ability to analyze complex technical problems in a structured manner while proactively managing the interfaces between IT, development, and external partners.
• Confident handling of relational databases (SQL) for modeling complex data structures (licenses, costs, assets).
• Proficient use of workflow management tools (especially JIRA) for process design.
• Solution-oriented, holistic thinking with the ability to both dive deep into technology and optimize processes at the management level.
• Business fluent English, German would be an advantage
