SAP Basis Consultant / SAP Administrator (d/w/m)

Your Tasks and Responsibilities

• Provision of agreed SAP services for the customer regarding resources, costs, time, quality, security, stability, and performance
• Technical consulting and SAP Basis support for business and IM projects
• Support in technical design activities
• Maintenance of SAP systems, including security patching, release updates, support packages, and upgrades
• System monitoring and analysis of system performance
• Coordination and execution of release changes, upgrades, and migrations (HANA)
• Planning and execution of configuration changes
• Landscape Management from design to operation (SAP Solution Manager, BW, SRM, ERP, SLT, SAP ME, and HANA)
• Transport system: configuration and operation of ChaRM
• Print Management: design and configuration of print control
• Ensuring process documentation as well as its continuous updating
• Project management within the framework of ongoing expansions and maintenance activities of the system landscape
• Evaluation of new technical tools, products, and functionalities in the course of the further development of the SAP landscape

Required Knowledge and Qualifications

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Business Informatics, Engineering, Computer Science, or a comparable course of study.
• Up to 5 years of experience working with complex SAP landscapes on a large scale
• Deep technical SAP experience and sound knowledge in SAP Basis
• Experience in various projects, especially in implementations, upgrades, OS/DB migrations, and HANA migrations
• Knowledge and experience in the areas of performance tuning, user administration, system copies, and Unicode conversions
• HANA experience is an advantage
• Solution-oriented personality with a strong desire to understand and adapt to new technologies
• Effective communication skills in exchange with internal customers and external auditors
• High motivation and drive to actively advance projects
• Confident way of working, both independently and collaboratively in an international team
• Willingness to learn as well as to exchange knowledge and experience within the team
• Analytical approach and a result-oriented mindset
• Advanced English skills (Advanced Level)
