Employee for the Ground Support and Test Equipment Workshop for A400M MRO in Wunstorf (d/m/w)

The "Industrial Means Maintenance" team is responsible for the care of equipment over its entire life cycle as a service provider for the A400M Maintenance Repair and Overhaul program. Independent and varied work, technically skilled colleagues, proximity to the product, and a positive working atmosphere characterize our organization. Your location

Wunstorf is located in the immediate vicinity of Hannover, the capital of Lower Saxony, and directly on the Steinhuder Meer. Your tasks and responsibilities

• Commissioning of new equipment
• Independent performance of preventive maintenance work on ground support and test equipment with a focus on engine-driven units (e.g., hydraulic test stands, cooling, air conditioning, and power supply units) and hydraulic jacks
• Independent determination of the maintenance scope based on findings
• Execution of repairs as commissioned by the maintenance management
• Documentation and feedback of the performed activities in the production and planning system SAP OPAL
• Identifying potential for improvement for the respective equipment regarding the execution of maintenance

Required knowledge and qualifications

• Journeyman's certificate in a manual, metalworking, or electrotechnical profession, ideally as an agricultural machinery mechanic
• Sound knowledge and experience with engines and hydraulics as well as basic knowledge in pneumatics and electrical systems desired
• Several years of experience in the field of production or maintenance as well as in handling tools and equipment
• Knowledge of MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint etc.) and SAP
• Basic technical English skills
• Driver's license (class BE) as well as a permit for industrial way vehicles (forklift) and mobile elevating work platforms
