Within our Méaulte site, and at the heart of Airbus's ambition for the next generation of products, you will join the Manufacturing Engineering department. Your mission? To transform our industrial system. You will be responsible for developing and implementing innovative and competitive tooling solutions to reduce our recurring costs (RC) while minimizing our environmental footprint.

As the guarantor of the performance of our composite industrial systems, you will lead the following activities: Development Engineering: Define and validate the feasibility of new processes via mature and robust composite technologies (RTM, pre-pregs, draping).Design to Cost & Manufacturing: Challenge the design in collaboration with business experts, architects, and systems engineers (ISE) to optimize performance and quality.Tooling Management: Supervise the creation of complex tooling (injection molds, machining/trimming tools, assembly lines) in various materials (Steel, Invar, Alu, Composite).Digital Transformation: Secure the integration of automation and digital tools into the future industrial system.Management & Administration: Supervise a small team, manage development budgets, and manage service provider contracts.

You are a technical expert with a strategic vision, capable of navigating between the design office (Pre-projects) and the realities of the industrial field.

Technical Skills (Hard Skills): Materials Expertise: Mastery of composite processes (Thermosets/Epoxy and Thermoplastics) and associated metallic materials (Invar, Steel).Software: Imperative mastery of CATIA.Process: In-depth knowledge of molding, RTM, draping, and automated systems.Management: Proven experience in project management, budget management, and team management.Languages: Fluent English is essential for inter-site exchanges and international supplier management. Education & Experience: Background in Mechanics (Design) and Composites or with a specialization in automation. Ideally from a specialized curriculum (such as COMPOSITECH or GEC training). Desired Qualities (Soft Skills): You demonstrate great intellectual curiosity and creativity to imagine the solutions of tomorrow.
