Your mission
Within our Mérignac site, you will join the Operations Quality Assurance for the ATR program.
You act as the guarantor of product compliance and industrial excellence. Your role requires dual competence: strong technical expertise and the ability to drive change towards a "Zero Defect" culture.
Your main mission will be to coordinate the entire Complex Corrective Preventive approach, first to strengthen quality with our customer but also to address our internal non-quality and that related to our subsidiaries, in order to significantly reduce our non-quality costs and ensure the "ON QUALITY, ON TIME & ON COST" delivery of our products. You report to the site quality manager.
You are an actor in quality improvement and lead a team focused on:
- quality improvement:
- through the reduction of Non-Quality Costs
- through the management of a roadmap to decrease deviations within the scope
- through the effective handling of critical events
- orientation around preventive measures and Quality acculturation
- through a preventive culture, increasing the maturity of AMDEC (Failure Mode and Effects Analysis), Control Plans
- through the deployment of disruptive and structuring "No Compromise On Quality" Projects
- through the deployment and maturity increase of the SMS (Safety Management System)
- operational and transverse support
- through support to our subsidiaries for our products
- through continuous improvement, managing our PPS (Practical Solving Problems) to avoid recurrences and robustify manufacturing processes based on "Right First Time"
- through the timely completion of FAI (First Article Inspection)/FAA (First Article Acceptance) to ensure the quality of the first manufactured items
- through performance management: reporting, monitoring action plans, preparation of the annual operating budget for the scope
The positioning of this role is central and requires being versatile and technical (Product Knowledge)
Your profile (What will make the difference)
You have proven experience in quality, continuous improvement, and aeronautical production. You master the EN9100 standard, reading blueprints, metrology, as well as manufacturing processes (aircraft systems or aero-structure). You bring real technical legitimacy to guide the field and make decisions on quality choices in the workshop. You manage projects and deploy problem-solving and progress tools (5S, Ishikawa). You autonomously use Google Workspace and technical specification consultation tools. You communicate clearly, lead meetings, and demonstrate leadership, analysis, and pragmatism. You practice fluent English at a B2 level.

The Mérignac site
This establishment, located in the Bordeaux metropolitan area, specializes in the assembly, equipment, and testing of ATR 42 and 72 wings. Our employees design and manufacture wings, structures, and systems. In addition to these production activities, Airbus Atlantic Mérignac handles the repair and spare parts activities for ATR parts.
