Are you our next Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager (All Gender)?
Your mission
Within our Saint-Nazaire site, you will join the Manufacturing Engineering (ME) team, responsible for industrializing the Production Orders (OMP) coming from the Design Office, and then from the Assembler.
Your role? Monitor the integration of a new workshop (fil rouge) into the activity and structure the department. You will then provide ME expertise to project teams ahead of the OMP phase: Design Office, NPI (New Part Introduction) Hub, VSM (Value Stream Mapping), Tolerancing, to ensure the smooth running of the industrialization processes to follow. Design: Optimize part design from the feasibility phase (material, industrialization, tolerancing, functional dimensioning, heat treatments, processes, costs,...).Evaluate: Calculate/quantify the impact of technical evolutions on production (workshop load/capacity, quality, supply chain,...).Collaborate: Act as the focal point and liaison between the Design Office and the ME teams in the UAP (Autonomous Production Units).Drive: Monitor and measure activity performance, produce reports, manage the budget, and coordinate the PMO (Project Management Office) service.
The position requires occasional travel to various Airbus Atlantic sites in France.
Your profile (What will make the difference) With a technical background specializing in Mechanics, you have proven successful experience in the parts manufacturing industry.You have technical expertise in the machining of aeronautical parts and/or technical expertise in forming processes.You are proficient in reading 3D plans, tolerancing, and have knowledge of aeronautical standards and processes.You express yourself clearly, know how to adapt your communication to your audience, and negotiate with various partners (Program, Design Office, suppliers).You are organized, rigorous, and able to lead and drive projects autonomously.English? The Saint-Nazaire site
The Saint-Nazaire site, a center of excellence for complex elementary parts, specializes, among other things, in the machining of rails and stringers, the drawing and mechanical machining of 3D fuselage panels, the production of structural frames, 5-axis machining of large-scale complex parts, pipe bending and welding, and surface treatment / painting. Thanks to its short-cycle delivery activity (Fil Rouge), the Saint-Nazaire site is able to respond urgently to the production needs of its customers. To learn more: video
