Are you the person who makes things happen? You know the type: when a project stalls, they pick up the phone. When a meeting ends without a clear next step, they ask "so who's doing what by when?" When something needs sorting out, it's already sorted. If that sounds like you, we'd like to meet you. As our Project Manager, you're the person who keeps things moving. You take ownership of projects from the kick-off to the final delivery, and you make sure they actually get finished. You're the link between teams, clients, partners, and other stakeholders: you keep everyone informed, aligned and motivated. We care more about who you are than about how many certifications you hold. Methods and tools can be learned; drive and people skills are much harder to teach.

In this role you will Manage projects from kickoff to completion, keeping an eye on scope, timelines and priorities

Act as the main point of contact, making sure communication flows between everyone involved

What do we offer An annual gross salary between € 45.000,- and € 75.000,- depending on experience

Continuous challenges and opportunities to grow personally and professionally

International travel: see the world while visiting customers and partners

An international team of talented colleagues

About Airborne Composites Automation We are part of the Airborne group, which has been part of the Dutch composites industry for more than 30 years. Airborne started out making composite parts, and today we also use that hands-on manufacturing know-how to build advanced automation systems that make composites production faster, more reliable and fully digital. From our base in The Hague, we develop and deliver solutions such as our Kit by Light (KBL) cutting and kitting systems and Automated Ply Placement (APP) technology. Our customers work in aerospace, defence, automotive and renewable energy, and include names like Airbus, GKN Aerospace and Lockheed Martin. We're a team of 40 engineers, builders and problem-solvers who like pushing the boundaries of what's possible in composites manufacturing. That means ambitious projects, international customers and plenty of opportunities for someone who likes to get things done.

Who you are A natural communicator. You're comfortable talking to anyone, from a new colleague to senior leadership. You listen well, explain things clearly, and aren't afraid of a difficult conversation.

A go-getter. You don't wait to be told what to do. You see what needs doing and you do it.

Someone who finishes what they start. Deadlines mean something to you, and so does your word.

Organized, but flexible. You like a plan, and you can change it without losing your cool.

A connector. You enjoy bringing people together and getting the best out of a team.

Positive and resilient. Setbacks don't slow you down for long.

What you bring Experience coordinating projects, events, teams or initiatives, in any setting (professional, volunteer, student, sports clubs all count).

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering.

Residing within commuting distance of The Hague.

Willing to travel internationally now and then to visit customers, partners and project sites.

Nice to have (but definitely not required) A project management certification such as PRINCE2 or IPMA

Familiarity with software tools like Jira and Excel.

Knowledge of Industrial Automation.

Don't tick every box? Apply anyway. We'd rather hire the right person and help them grow than hire a perfect CV. Please note: We do not offer visa sponsorship or relocation for this role.
