Team Manager Integrity - Industrial Performance M/F

Your responsibilities are structured around the following axes:

Safety and compliance: You act as a true role model for safety, promote a strong prevention culture, and ensure that projects strictly comply with safety rules, IMS processes, and local regulations. *

Project management: You supervise researchers and coordinators during project execution, allocate resources optimally, and guarantee scientific excellence as well as the quality of deliverables. *

Collaboration and decision-making: You work in close synergy with teams to meet quality, time, and budget constraints. You are a key player in decision-making, alongside the Portfolio Management. *

Ideation/Innovation/Vision: In close relationship with Air Liquide subsidiaries and their customers, you understand their expectations and encourage your team to propose new exploratory projects. You ensure close proximity to operational entities and guarantee the proper execution of technical expertise following failures observed on sites. Drawing on this field feedback, you actively collaborate with industrial management and portfolio management to co-construct the short and medium-term scientific and technical roadmap. *

Communication & Presentation: As integrity lies at the heart of the Group's innovation, you will be required to make regular presentations to external clients as well as members of general management. Furthermore, you ensure the sharing of progress on various projects during technical reviews with experts from the group's various business lines. *

Management of experimental means: You oversee the management of material characterization equipment and semi-industrial pilot plants supporting R&D projects. In this capacity, you certify the accuracy of the data produced, optimize operational continuity by limiting unplanned shutdowns, and guarantee absolute compliance with the Group's safety directives. *

Investments: It will also be your responsibility to develop and support investment files necessary for the operational maintenance of the machine/pilot fleet, while ensuring the alignment of pilot plants with project requirements. *

Team management: You lead, motivate, evaluate, and support the professional development of your direct reports in a caring environment. *

Scientific expertise and intellectual property: You are the guarantor of your team's scientific quality, manage skills, and actively support the creation of intellectual property (IP). *

Funding: You proactively seek funding opportunities aligned with our research priorities.

Engineering degree or PhD (or equivalent) in a relevant scientific or technical field (corrosion, metallurgy, thermomechanics...) *

Proven experience in R&D project management and ideally in supporting or supervising teams *

Strong commitment to safety and rigor in the application of quality processes and standards (knowledge of IMS standards is an asset) *

Demonstrated ability to collaborate, support your colleagues, and build trust within a team *

Synthesis skills and excellent communication to understand customer needs and interact effectively with various stakeholders *

Very good command of English
