HVAC Design Engineer

Responsibilities:

HVAC Layout Design : Develop detailed ductwork, piping, and equipment layouts in Revit and AutoCAD.

Load Calculations : Perform precise heating and cooling load calculations for residential homes and commercial spaces.

BIM Coordination : Coordinate 3D models with architectural, structural, and electrical layouts to eliminate design clashes.

Equipment Sizing : Specify and size appropriate equipment, including split systems, VRF units, chillers, and air handlers.

Code Compliance : Ensure all building designs comply with local building codes, energy codes, and ASHRAE standards.

Plan Modification : Revise and update existing design drawings based on client feedback or site modifications.

Technical Documentation : Produce comprehensive equipment schedules, technical specifications, and construction documents.

Requirements:

Education : Minimum of a bachelor’s degree (B.Eng.) in Mechanical Engineering

Experience : Minimum 2 years of proven experience in HVAC system design.

Technical Expertise: Proficiency in HVAC design software, AutoCAD MEP, Revit, and other engineering tools.

Communication : Strong analytical, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
