About the position: This position will be assigned to the Information Tickets and Travel office located at Tyndall AFB, FL.

Major duties

Including my not limited to: Primarily responsible in establishing and administering commercial reservation and ticket services to a diverse leisure travel community that includes military, active and retired, civilian contractors, and DoD employees from all branches of the service, as well as their family members. Provides clear and accurate guidance and coordination of the leisure travel information and referral services for both individual and group customers. Assists customers in planning, researching and developing domestic itinerary for cruises ground transpiration airfare, and hotel accommodations ticket sales, and vacation packages. May assist when needed with FedEx Office services, balloon operation, fax services, resale lot and RV Storage registration to customers. Maintain registry for a resale lot. Use computer system and software for electronic ticketing and fund management. Assists in maintaining equipment and reports missing or damaged equipment to supervisor. Carries out proper closing and opening procedures as directed. Ensures safety and house rules. Ensures that fees are collected, receipts are issued and maintained, revenue is appropriately processed. May assist in processing vendor payment and/or accomplishing end of month report. Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifying Experience: Desirable to have experience with professional travel agent computer based travel reservation and ticketing software. Knowledge of computer programs to include Word, Excel, Outlook as well as internet. Extremely customer oriented and possess excellent customer service skills. Should have cashier, and simple bookkeeping/accounting experience. Must possess skills in dealing with the public.
