About the role:

As a senior software tester based in Abu Dhabi, you will lead comprehensive testing efforts to ensure the delivery of high-quality software products. You will collaborate with development, product, and operations teams to design, implement, and execute test strategies that meet both technical and business requirements.

Responsibilities:

Develop, document, and execute manual and automated test plans, test cases, and test scripts

Design and maintain test automation frameworks using tools such as Selenium or similar

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand requirements, acceptance criteria, and user stories

Identify, log, and track defects, working with developers to ensure timely resolution

Perform performance, load, and stress testing to validate system scalability and reliability

Analyze test results, generate detailed reports, and present findings to stakeholders

Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements and maintain test documentation

Mentor and guide junior testers, promoting best practices and continuous improvement

Required qualifications:

6–10 years of hands-on experience in software testing, including both manual and automated testing

Strong proficiency with automation tools such as Selenium, QTP/UFT, or equivalent

Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile/Scrum methodologies

Experience in performance testing using JMeter, LoadRunner, or similar tools

Proficiency in writing SQL queries and scripting (Python, JavaScript, or Shell)

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills

Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and lead testing efforts in a fast-paced environment

Preferred qualifications:

ISTQB or equivalent professional certification

Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices

Familiarity with API testing tools such as Postman, SoapUI, or REST Assured

Knowledge of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure) and cloud-based testing

Experience in mobile application testing (iOS and Android)

Previous experience leading QA/testing teams or projects
