SAP ABAP Fiori Lead

Your tasks

We are seeking a SAP ABAP/Fiori lead to join our growing team in the United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will drive the design, development, and implementation of ABAP and Fiori solutions within SAP S/4HANA. You will lead a team of developers, collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders, ensure best practices and high quality deliverables, and support continuous improvement of our SAP environment.

• Lead the full development lifecycle for SAP ABAP enhancements, custom reports, interfaces, forms, and conversions
• Architect and develop SAP Fiori/UI5 applications and OData services
• Collaborate with functional consultants and business users to translate requirements into technical designs
• Provide technical guidance, mentorship, and code reviews for ABAP and Fiori developers
• Ensure adherence to SAP development standards, performance optimization, and security guidelines
• Troubleshoot and resolve production issues and performance bottlenecks
• Prepare technical specifications, effort estimates, and project documentation
• Coordinate with Basis, security, and integration teams to deliver end-to-end solutions

Requirements

Required qualifications

• 5-7 years of hands-on experience in SAP ABAP development and Fiori implementations
• Strong expertise in ABAP programming, OO ABAP, BAPI, BADI, ALE/IDoc, and RFC
• Proficiency in SAP S/4HANA architecture, migrations, and data modeling
• Experience with SAP Fiori/UI5 development, Gateway, and OData service provisioning
• Solid understanding of SAP NetWeaver, SAP HANA database, and integration technologies
• Demonstrated leadership experience guiding and mentoring development teams
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

Preferred qualifications

• SAP certification in ABAP, Fiori, or S/4HANA
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and SAP Activate framework
• Familiarity with SAP PI/PO or CPI integration tools
• Knowledge of SAP Basis and security concepts
• Previous experience in multinational or multicultural project environments
• Proficiency in Arabic and English
