Your tasks

We are seeking a dedicated RTU/SCADA Field Service Engineer to join our team in Dammam. The successful candidate will be responsible for on-site installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, and integration of RTU and SCADA systems, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction in industrial and utility environments.

  • Install and configure RTU hardware and Control Wave applications on customer sites
  • Commission SCADA projects using Open Enterprise and integrate with existing control systems
  • Perform system diagnostics and troubleshooting to resolve hardware and software issues
  • Conduct field service visits for preventive maintenance and emergency support
  • Collaborate with project teams to ensure timely delivery and adherence to technical specifications
  • Provide training and technical support to customer personnel
  • Document service activities, generate reports, and maintain accurate records of system configurations
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies during all service activities

Requirements

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Control, or Automation Engineering
  • 5-7 years of field service experience with RTU and SCADA systems
  • Proficiency with Control Wave software and Open Enterprise platform
  • Strong commissioning and system integration skills
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting expertise in industrial automation environments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently on site
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the Eastern Province and beyond

Preferred qualifications

  • Certification in SCADA/RTU technologies or related fields
  • Experience with additional SCADA platforms (e.g., Wonderware, GE iFix)
  • Familiarity with network protocols such as DNP3, Modbus, and IEC 60870-5-104
  • Knowledge of safety standards and functional safety assessments
  • Fluency in Arabic and English
  • Previous work experience in the oil & gas or water utilities sector
