Full Stack Developer Lead

Your tasks

We are seeking a seasoned full stack developer / lead to join our Dubai-based team. In this role, you will drive the end-to-end development of scalable web applications, architect robust solutions, and mentor a growing development team. You will collaborate closely with product, design, and operations stakeholders to deliver high-quality software that meets business objectives and user needs.

• Lead the design and implementation of full stack web applications using JavaScript, TypeScript, React, and Node.js
• Define and enforce coding standards, conduct code reviews, and ensure best practices
• Architect and optimize database schemas and queries for both SQL and NoSQL data stores
• Collaborate with product managers and UX/UI designers to translate requirements into technical specifications
• Mentor, coach, and develop junior and mid-level engineers, fostering a culture of learning and innovation
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and deployment workflows
• Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement performance improvements
• Ensure security, scalability, and maintainability of applications
• Participate in sprint planning, estimations, and Agile ceremonies

Requirements

Required qualifications

• 4–6 years of professional full stack development experience
• Expert proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript
• Strong hands-on experience with React and Node.js
• Solid experience with relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and writing optimized SQL queries
• Proficiency with NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB, DynamoDB)
• Deep understanding of RESTful API design and integration
• Experience with version control systems (Git)
• Demonstrated leadership or team lead experience, including mentoring or coaching peers
• Excellent problem-solving abilities and strong verbal and written communication skills

Preferred qualifications

• Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless architectures
• Familiarity with containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes)
• Background in microservices architecture and event-driven design
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or CircleCI
• Knowledge of performance monitoring and logging tools (e.g., New Relic, ELK Stack)
• Prior experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
