Developer

About the role:

We are seeking a skilled developer to join our dynamic technology team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will have 5-7 years of experience designing, developing, and maintaining high-quality software solutions. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable applications that meet business requirements.

Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and maintain software applications according to specifications

Collaborate with product managers, designers, and other stakeholders to define project requirements

Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code

Conduct code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards

Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues in a timely manner

Participate in Agile ceremonies and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Required qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field

5-7 years of professional software development experience

Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, or Python

Experience with web technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) and frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, .NET)

Strong understanding of the software development lifecycle and Agile methodologies

Hands-on experience with version control systems (e.g., Git)

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail

Effective communication and teamwork skills

Ability to work in a fast-paced, multicultural environment

Preferred qualifications:

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud)

Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD)

Agile or Scrum certification (CSM, CSPO)

Knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL)

Experience in the financial or government sectors

Fluency in Arabic or French
